Learn about the objectives of the network, why it was started, the structure of the network, and how fun it is. Once you have read through the information on this website, complete EBP training and the training checklist, then contact the clinical group leader of the group you are interested in, to find out when their next meeting is.

Our Achievements:

- The Trache & Critical Care Group successfully ran a study day with shadowing opportunities for rural and remote staff in May 2023
- The Aged Care Group strongly navigated their first year as part of the network
- Amy Freeman-Sanderson on behalf of the Steering Committee presented at the 2022 Speech Pathology Australia Conference “20 years of the NSW Speech Pathology Evidence-Based Practice Network: Looking back to move forward” to spread the word on the value of our Network to Speech Pathologists daily practice
- The Adult TBI has officially hung up it’s hat following their 2018 hiatus. If you’re interested in resurrecting this group, please reach out to the steering committee.

- The paediatric speech group provided a submission to the Australian Government Senate Inquiry regarding the Prevalence of Different Types of Speech, Language and Communication Disorders and Speech Pathology Services in Australia.
